Happy 10th Birthday To Eva!!

Eva's 10th birthday was yesterday. She had been looking forward to her party for months. The day finally came. I am happy to say we all survived a house full of tweens. Some girls had to come late, others had to leave early, but when they were all there I counted 20 of them. What a party...
We played games like Spin The Bottle Truth Or Dare (our own version), Skits In A Bag, Eva Pictionary and How Observant Are You.
We ate lots of pizza and indulged in all kinds of chocolate concoctions from our chocolate fountain. Can you believe I even let them eat all that pizza, soda and messy runny chocolate yummies on the white carpet?! I must say I have come a long way.

One present Eva received was inside a balloon. She had to pop it in order to get it.

This is Eva announcing that she was finally done opening her presents. She got so many nice things. I think she was even a little overwhelmed. She was so thankful to all her friends for helping make her day so special.

Two funny things about this picture: First, doesn't Ben look so happy to be amongst so many girls? And second, Ella is showing some serious crack, butt that will be our little secret.

Eva's party was truly one for the books. She had an amazing time with all of her fun friends. I am not sure she will be able to top this party in her lifetime and I am also not sure I will ever be willing to host such a party ever again. Having said that, seeing how happy she was that day totally made up for all the hard work in the planning and execution. She was truly glowing.
As if that party wasn't enough Eva then got to spend the evening with her Papa (and Grammie) and her cousin Livia (and her family) who also have birthdays in December. The day was magical.
Happy Birthday Eva! I love you so much and am so happy and honored to be your Mom. You are growing up to be one amazing individual!
